Auto-Installing to Headless Mediation Servers

To automatically install to headless mediation servers, you must generate an options file. Do this by specifying the following parameters following the installer’s command.

[Installer] -options-template <responseFileName>

There should be no space between -options and -template. This specifies that the installer should automatically generate a response or options file for the project now that can be used to provide user input during an installation. For example:

win_install.exe -options-template templateFile.txt

A second (preferred) way to do this is with the following parameters:

-options-record <responseFileName>

There should be no space between -options and -record. This specifies that the installer should automatically generate a record file for the project after the completion of the installation/uninstallation. For example:

win_install.exe -options-record recordFile.txt

Once you have generated an option file, you can run the install without any user action as in the following example:

win_install.exe -options <responseFileName> -silent
