Database Server Configuration
Custom installation now lets you select the database server from a screen in the installer.
When the database resides on its own Solaris server, you must remove all enabled startup services from that database server--this includes application server and mediation agent. The startup scripts are in /etc/rc2.d. The application server startup script (S76oware) and the mediation agent startup script (S77oware) should be removed or renamed (for example: tmpS77oware). If configuration changes occur, you can find a copy of these scripts in <InstallDirectory>/install.
Make backups before altering files.
